Obituary for Brenda Marie Colesanti
Brenda M. Colesanti, 59, of Fairfield, PA died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident.
Born December 29, 1958 in Cheverly, MD she was the daughter of George Fisanich, of Fairfield, PA and the late Nancy R. (Sullivan) Fisanich, who died August 18, 2015.
Brenda was a former IT analyst at NASA Greenbelt, where she worked to process Hubble Telescope images. A lover of animals and children, she became a positive presence in many lives. She was a loving caregiver for her mother during her last years.
In addition to her father, Brenda is survived by her six siblings, Patrick E. Fisanich and his wife Pilar Spangler, of West Milford, NJ, Pamela A. Markle, of Ashburn, VA, Bruce G. Fisanich and his wife Jeannette, of Beltsville, MD, David A. Fisanich, of Sandston, VA, Diane A. Curry and her husband William, of Lusby, MD, Duane A. Fisanich and his significant other Kendra Barrs, of Falling Waters, WV, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Ukranian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family, 4250 Harewood Rd NE, Washington, D.C. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, MD. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 E.
