Obituary for Edward J. Noye
Edward J. Noye, 79, of Carroll Valley, PA died at Gettysburg Hospital on Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Edward was born May 11, 1938 in New York the youngest of Margaret and Wilfred Noye's five children and is survived by Harriet Welch Noye, his wife of 54 years. The couple resided in Kensington, MD before retiring to Pennsylvania. They have two daughters; Nicolette A. Ward and Erin M. Clem and her fiancé Stevan Sulecki and two grandchildren; Caitlin Clem, and Madelin Clem.
Mr. Noye was a graduate of Manhattan College. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves. He retired as owner of Colonial Claims Services, Inc. Ed served as President of the Washington Claims Association, and was also Past Most Loyal Gander of the Honorable Order of Blue Goose International.
Viewing will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fairfield, PA followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Reception at the Noye family home.
In return for their extraordinary service to the community, the Noye family asks that donations be made to Fountaindale Volunteer Fire Department, 1340 Old Waynesboro Road, Fairfield, PA 17320.
