Obituary for Edward K. Kuntz
: Edward K. Kuntz, 78 of Aspers, PA peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at home with his family by his side. Born February 15, 1940 in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late, Andrew & Miriam (Gochenour) Kuntz. Mr. Kuntz was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been employed for many years as a machinist with CAM Industries in Hanover, PA and later worked for General Dynamics Corp. in Westminster, MD until his retirement. Mr. Kuntz was a skilled guitarist and played for many years with the local band, Country Cutups, and later played with several bands in the Adams County area. He enjoyed traveling, photography, target shooting and hunting with his metal detector. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce May (Grasser) Kuntz, three daughters; Debra Linn Moore and husband Bradley of Jacksonville, NC, Rosinda Beth Shrader of Aspers, PA and Kimberly Jean Dillman and husband Donald of Shallotte, NC, a son, Kenneth Dale Kuntz of New Oxford, PA, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Kuntz home in Aspers. The family suggests memorials to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, 418 F NW Street, Washington, DC 20001.
