Obituary for Eleanor J. Kline
Eleanor J. Kline, 70 of McSherrystown, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 30 at her home.
Born September 7, 1947 in Lock Haven, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dale K. & Molly (Bryerton) Miller.
Eleanor retired in 2010 after working for a number of years in the accounting department of Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport, PA, previously she had been employed by Eddies Dry Cleaners in Gettysburg for over 20 years. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eleanor enjoyed reading, crocheting, the ocean and the beach.
She is survived by her two daughters; Penny L. Messinger and Paula J. Staley and husband Daniel, both of Gettysburg, PA, two grandchildren; Amanda L. Chrismer and husband Gared and Andrew D. Messinger and wife Tammy, two step-grandsons; Joseph Staley and wife Amanda and George Staley and wife Dani, five great grandchildren; Kilah, Hailey, Emma, Alivia and Elsie, three step great grandchildren; Reagan, Parker and Logan and two sisters; Cindy Hockenberry, of Phoenix, AZ and Mollyann Smith and husband Scott, of Lock Haven, PA.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, 208 Baltimore St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Louis Nyiri, officiating.
