Obituary for Mary O. Hoffman
Mary O. Hoffman, 65, of Fayetteville, PA died Friday morning, July 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 11, 1952 in Gettysburg, PA she was the daughter of Bessie Mae (Leabow) Fair, of Gettysburg, PA and the late Ervin E. Fair. She was an adoring spouse to her husband Edward J. Hoffman, of Fayetteville, PA to whom she was married to for 48 years.
Mary loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid bowler and bingo player.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Edward T. Hoffman, of West Virginia, Patrick E. Hoffman and his wife Melissa, of St. Thomas, PA, Susan A. Keefer and her husband Brad, of Fayetteville, PA, two grandchildren, Cora Mae Keefer, Emma Paige Keefer, three sisters, Linda Joyce Naugle, of Gettysburg, PA, Geneva Mae Miller, of Gettysburg, PA, Willie Mae Hilbert and her husband Glenn, of North Carolina, her brother, C. Alfie Fair, of Tacoma Park, MD, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Steve Herr officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.
