
Obituary for Alice G. Eyler
Alice G. Eyler, 89, of Fairfield, PA died Tuesday evening, October 18, 2016 at Quincy Village, Waynesboro, PA.
Born May 22, 1927 in Franklin County, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter Miller and Rosalie Green. She was the wife of the late Clarence Eyler, Sr. who died in 2006.
Mrs. Eyler was a member of the Greenstone Apostolic Church. She worked for a time at Austin Hill in Waynesboro and later for the Waynesboro Laundry until her retirement. She was a former member of the Waynesboro American Legion Auxiliary.
Alice is survived by her two children, Alice Grumbine and her husband Joseph, of Hagerstown, MD, Ronald Eyler and his wife Lisa, of South Carolina, two grandchildren, Gina Grumbine-Hudock and her husband John, Alicia Eyler, and two sisters, Rosalie Beaver, of Rouzerville, PA, and Stella Gratton, of Waynesboro, PA, as well as a number nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Clarence Eyler, Jr., her granddaughter, Amanda Eyler, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home 27 East Main St., Fairfield, PA with Chaplain Justin Isbister officiating. Burial will be in the Fountaindale Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service Friday morning at the funeral home.
