Obituary for Allison Marie Baranski
Allison Marie Baranski, 48 years, of Millersburg, Dauphin County, PA died on November 3, 2016 at Harrisburg Pinnacle Hospital with her family members by her side. She was born on August 16, 1968 in Gettysburg, PA. She fought her Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for almost two years with great bravery.
She was the daughter of Dr. Edward J. and Georgine Hensel Baranski of Gettysburg. Allison is survived by two brothers and a sister; Edward J. Jr. (Tad) and wife Connie Roberts Baranski, their children, Joseph, (Edward J. III), and Erica Louise of Lakeland, Florida, Brother Marc Hensel Baranski and wife Lynn Callicott Baranski and their children, Marc Jr. and Josephine Lynn of Princeton, New Jersey, and Anne Elizabeth Baranski and fiancée Brian Perkins of Lakeland, Florida. Also surviving is an Aunt, Evelyn Baranski Childs of Washington, DC.
Allison was a graduate of Gettysburg High School, Class of 1986, and Penn State University, Wilkes Barre, PA in 2000 with an Associate in Science Degree in Business Administration, Management Option with High Distinction. She was employed by CERTECH INC in Wilkes Barre, PA for a number of years.
She had a love of animals and had many pets during her lifetime. Her passion for English (Horse) Riding and Jumping began at age five and continued thru her teenage years and adulthood. She participated in local, PA, MD, VA, and National Horse Shows in Washington, DC and placed in or won many events. She was active with Therapeutic Horse Academy in the Wilkes Barre area in later years.
Due to a severe automobile accident Allison was disabled and left Wilkes Barre for Dauphin County.
Private Services will be at the convenience of the family and her ashes will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery as well as scattered in the Atlantic Ocean at her favorite place in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, according to her wishes.
