Obituary for Angela S. (Lally) Groft
Angela S. (Lally) Groft, 51, of Orrtanna, PA died Wednesday morning, June 8, 2016 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.
Born March 31, 1965 in Charles Town, WV, she was the daughter of the late George Lally and Carol Jean (Haines) Nutter. She was the wife of Christopher A. Groft, of Orrtanna, PA to whom she was married to for 5 years.
Angela worked in the accounting department of Peak-Ryzex, in Columbia, MD where she recently won the monthly employee achievement award for April. She was a member of Beach Harbor in Grasonville, MD and loved spending her weekends there or any beach that was closely accessible with her best friend Kathy McCracken. She loved her mini schnauzer Joey and was very much looking forward to being a step-grandmother to Cristiano.
In addition to her husband, Angela is survived by her son, Ronald Lemon and his fiancé Audra Welsh, of Harper’s Ferry, WV, her sister, Debbie Boyd and her husband Michael, of Charles Town, WV, her step-father, Carl Nutter, of Charles Town, WV, numerous nieces and nephews, her sisters-in-law, Tammy Cleveland and her husband Todd, Tina Kuhn, Diane Groft, and her brother-in-law, Mike Groft.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Michael Allwein officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
