Barbara A. Mock, 77 of Gettysburg, PA died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at The Gettysburg Hospital.
Born August 15, 1939 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Fridinger) Caskey of Fayetteville, PA and the late John Caskey.
Barbara is survived by her husband of fifty eight years, Delbert Mock, five daughters; Darla Nimmon and husband Tim of Gettysburg, Debra Himes and husband Ed of Aspers, PA, Kim Arnsberger and husband Kevin of Gettysburg, Carol Bower and husband Doug of Aspers, PA and Melissa Bowers and husband Jason of York, PA, step-daughter, Tammy Wolf of Aspers, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren with her twentieth due in March, a sister, Dori Owens of Florida and four brothers; Doug Caskey of Fairfield, PA, James Caskey of Chambersburg, PA, Ken Caskey of Florida and Tom Caskey of Aspers. She was predeceased by two sisters; Patricia Knight and Jean Toomey and a brother, John Caskey, Jr.
Barbara was employed for many years at the Duffy Motts Plant in Aspers. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Gettysburg, the Red Hat Society and a former member of the Farm Women Association.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg with her Pastor, Rev. Steve Baker, officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 1-2 PM. The family suggests memorial contributions to Memorial Baptist Church, 1096 Biglerville Road Gettysburg, PA 17325.
