Barbara A. “Bobbie” Jones, 77, Cashtown, PA died Saturday, January 27, 2018.
She was born April 5, 1940 in Purceville, VA the daughter of the late Harry and Elsie Dixon Carper. Bobbie was predeceased by her husband, Theodore Jones and two sons; Timothy Kerns and Jeffrey Kerns.
Bobbie was employed for most of her career at Knouse Foods in Orrtanna, PA until her retirement. She loved horses and her dogs.
Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Weaver of Blue Ridge Summit, PA, a son, Chad Shaffer of Cashtown, PA, five grandchildren; Eric Kerns, Mandy Kerns, Shannon Weaver, Tony Kerns, Sheena Kerns, seven great grandchildren; Angela, Ismael, Ethan, Aaron, Lucas, Jeffrey and Lincoln.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at her home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
