Obituary for Ben DiCesare
Ben DiCesare, 86, of Wintersville died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1935 in Steubenville, Oh. He is the son of the late Alfonso and Gilda Coppa DiCesare. He is also preceded in death by brother John DiCesare and sisters’ Constance Bjelac and Judy Shay.
Ben was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked in the Tandem Mill. He worked hard and rarely missed a day of work, however when he retired, he loved every second and worked to make up lost time. Ben’s dedication, passion and love between him, and his family, was unparalleled. He also loved spending time laughing with those he knew and enjoyed fellowship around a good meal. He was Christian by faith.
Surviving are one daughter Nicole (Andrew) Weigle of East Berlin, PA; two brothers Joseph (Alexis) DiCesare of Steubenville and Steven DiCesare of Toronto; one sister Paula Licatta of Steubenville; three grandchildren Dalton Anthony, Rylie Paige and Jaxon Frederick.
Memorial visitation will be held Monday from 2 pm until time of services at 4 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday. August 13, 2021 at the Heidlersburg Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA with Pastor Don Wolabaugh, officiating.
