Obituary for Catherine Lorraine Green
Catherine Lorraine Green, 84, of Waynesboro, PA peacefully passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, August 4, 2017.
Born on August 29, 1932 in Fairfield, PA. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna "Blanche" Richardson Reese.
Catherine worked a number of years at Kinney Shoe Factory in Fairfield, PA and later retired from Bears Packing Company in Waynesboro, PA.
Catherine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Catherine enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She devoted most of her time watching her favorite TV shows; wrestling, Family Feud, and multiple talk shows.
She is survived by her three sons; Rickey A. Green, Robert C. Green and his wife Glenda, Gary L. Green and his wife Donna all of Waynesboro, PA, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, three sisters; Janet Lefler, Dorothy Biser, Ethel Young and a brother, Francis Reese. Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. “Tom” Green, a daughter, Debra K. Green and three brothers; Harry Reese, Andrew Reese and Robert Reese.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield, PA at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Fairfield Union Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Monahan Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
