Obituary for Conor John Xavier "Bug" Scherle
Conor John Xavier Scherle “Bug”, 21 of Fairfield, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 01, 2018 as the result of a tragic accident in West Palm Beach, FL.
Born in Huntington Valley, PA, he was the loving son of Daniel E. Scherle and Debra A. (Jacobs) Scherle.
Conor was a graduate of Fairfield High School, where he was a member of the football and basketball teams. He was an active sports fanatic, loved the outdoors and had a passion for snowboarding. Conor had an infectious smile and gentle disposition. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend and will be missed dearly by all.
In addition to his parents, Conor will be lovingly remembered by his three brothers; Dan Scherle and his wife Olivia (Odom) Scherle of West Palm Beach, FL, Aleksander Scherle and Lukas Scherle of Ooltewah, TN, step-mother Armenda Blake-Scherle of Ooltewah, TN, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins most all living within Pennsylvania and Debra's partner Shawn Gelsdorf. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Xavier and Mildred Jane Jacobs and Joseph and Lois (Scherle) Cohen.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fairfield, PA.
