David A. Cool, Sr., 72, of Gettysburg, PA died Sunday morning, September 15, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born February 2, 1952 in Thurmont, MD he was the son of the late John W. and Mary E. (Riley) Cool. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Mallette) Cool, of Gettysburg to whom he was married to for 48 years.
Mr. Cool was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for over 40 years at the former Fairfield Graphics. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed golfing, fishing and vacationing with his family especially at the beach.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his two sons, David Cool, Jr., of Waynesboro, PA, Rusty Cool and his wife Sara, of Gettysburg, PA, and his three grandchildren, Kaylen Cool, Maddox Cool, and Bodhi Cool. David was preceded in death by his biological parents, Roy and Martha (Cool) Baker and his 12 brothers and sisters.
