Obituary for David L. Stouch
David L. Stouch, 52, of Gettysburg passed away Thursday August 10, 2017 at Gettysburg Hospital after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born October 20, 1964 in Gettysburg, David was the son of Richard L. Stouch and his wife Janice of Sodus Point, NY; and Johneta Yingling and her husband Norman of Gettysburg.
Dave is also survived by his love of 27 years, Wendy K. Rudisill of Gettysburg and their son, Douglas David Stouch of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers Ryan C. Stouch and his wife Laurie of Gettysburg and Todd M. Stouch and his wife Kristyn of Spring Grove, PA.
Dave was a 1982 graduate of Gettysburg High School and was employed by The Paint Store Plus, Inc. in Gettysburg for 20+ years.
He was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed watching and attending games with his son. He also enjoyed collecting various memorabilia, restoring old furniture, and crafting.
Dave dearly loved his family and will be sorely missed by family and friends who loved him.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA with Pastor Eldridge Moses officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday, August 14th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N.
