Obituary for Debra C. (Wilson) Cruz
Debra C. (Wilson) Cruz, 60, of Hanover, PA died Tuesday, morning, August 22, 2017 at York Select Hospital.
Born April 18, 1957 in Concord, NC she was the daughter of the late Lloyd M. and Lura L. (Haney) Wilson. She was the wife of Mariano Cruz.
Debra is survived by her four loving children, John L. Jones, Tyrone Moore, Tanya M. Moore, Rejane Fleetwood, her grandchildren, whom she adored, Niesha, Adriana, Isaiah, Lydia, Jennah, Ariel, Kelsey, Bobby, one great grandson, Remmy, three siblings, Calvin M. Haney, Mary A. Chapman, Lois M. Shorb, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy L. Chandler, her brother William Haney, and her two sisters, Margaret Waldron and Joan Howard.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Rodney Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made, in honor of her grandson, Isaiah Moore, to the Autism Society of America, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814.
