Diane M. Hoy, 88, of Gettysburg, PA died Monday evening, January 16, 2017 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born May 2, 1928 in Portsmouth, OH, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Veva Cox. She was the wife of Dr. Kenneth Look Hoy of Gettysburg, PA and was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. William L. Larcamp who died June 6, 2001.
Mrs. Hoy was an active member of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the adult choir and was a Stephen Minister. She was also very involved in the Neighborhood Youth Club which tutored and ministered to children in the immediate area around the church, she was good older role model for those children and she really loved them and enjoyed being with those that she served. She was a member of the “Over the Tea Cups” book club.
In addition to her husband Diane is survived by her two children, Daniel Lee Larcamp and his wife Susie, of Falls Church, VA, Jane Larcamp Campbell and her husband Tom Tracy, of Seattle, WA, she was a wonderful Nana to her four grandchildren, Andrew Marr, Lindsey Marr, Ryan Larcamp, Mike Larcamp her sister, Shirley Glasgow, of Portsmouth, OH, and her step-daughter, Linda Corey, of Miami, FL.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, 208 Baltimore St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Louis Nyiri officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday evening, January 20, 2017 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg.
