Obituary for Donald E. Stultz
Donald E. Stultz, 83 of Fairfield, PA died Monday, July 25, 2016 at his home.
Born May 2, 1933 in Fairfield, he was the son of the late John M. “Pete” & Dorothy E. (Spriggs) Stultz. Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ellen J. (Slonaker) Stultz.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Army Tank Corp. Donald owned and operated the Quality Tire Service Center in Emmitsburg, MD for twenty years retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfield, American Legion Post #101 in Emmitsburg and was a charter member of the Fairfield AmVets Post #172. Donald was a member and Past-Master of Masonic Tyrian Lodge #205 in Emmitsburg, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite of Harrisburg, PA and 32nd Degree Knight Templar of York, PA Rite.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Dotty Moul and husband Dennis of Gettysburg, PA, two sisters; Annette Phillips of Littlestown, PA and Evelyn Matthews of Laurel, MS and many nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his twin sisters; Ruth Price and Rose Arentz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, 13 East Main St. Fairfield, with Rev. Beverly Donnella, officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 East Main St. Fairfield with Masonic Services scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and on Friday, from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
