Obituary for Donald L. Heffner, Jr.
Donald L. Heffner, Jr., 62, of Reisterstown, Maryland died suddenly at his home on Sunday, July 17, 2016.
He was born in Gettysburg, PA on March 1, 1954 the son of the late Donald L. and Effie (Weaver) Heffner, Sr.
He worked for 40 years at Bowl America in Baltimore, MD. He was a member of the Buchanan Valley Rod & Gun Club, as well as the Gettysburg Eagles. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Buchanan Valley.
Donnie is survived by his two sisters, Ruth Ann Robinson, of Valrico, FL, Catherine C. Grance, of Biglerville, PA, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Heffner, Ralph Heffner, and William Heffner.
A Memorial Mass will be held on at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 1095 Church Road, Orrtanna, PA with Fr. Dominic DiBiccaro, Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Adams County SPCA or the Carroll County Humane Society.
