Obituary for Doris L. Wuethrich
Doris L. Wuethrich, 88, Spring Grove, PA formerly of Watertown, WI died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Manor Care in York, PA.
She was born August 27, 1927 in Clyman, WI the daughter of the late Herbert and Alma Olsen Zubke. Her husband Oswald “Ozzie” Wuethrich died last year.
Doris was a very active former member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, she was currently a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfield, PA. For many years Doris, was a buyer for Kline’s Department Stores in the mid-west. She was a member of the Watertown American Legion Auxiliary and the Watertown VFW Auxiliary.
Doris is survived by a son Neal Wuethrich and his wife Helen of Spring Grove, PA, three grandchildren; Dennis Wuethrich of Colorado, David Wuethrich and his wife Amanda of Fairfield, PA, Monica Laughman and her husband James of Spring Grove, PA, 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Brian Wuethrich.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Beverly Donnella officiating. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Watertown, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 213 North 9th Street, Watertown, WI 53094.
