Dorothy M. Williams, 92, Hanover, PA died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Gettysburg Center.
She was born July 25, 1924 in Harrison, MT the daughter of the late Charles A. and Florence Rife Wood. Her husband Warren L. Williams died in 1980.
Dorothy is survived by three daughters; Carolyn Redden of Hanover, PA, Helen Williams of Hanover, PA, Linda Luckenbaugh and her husband Richard of Hanover, ten grandchildren; Connie Heisey and her husband Ray, Vickie Strausbaugh and her husband Maurice, Lisa Strausbaugh and her husband Keith, Penny Groff and her husband Steve, Jack Redden and his wife Sarah, Tina Barstow and her husband Mike, Joy Kopp and her husband Luke, James Redden, Richard W. Luckenbaugh and his wife Nikki, Daniel Luckenbaugh and his wife Stacy, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by six sisters and 5 great grandchildren.
Dorothy was a graduate of Custer High School in Miles City, MT. She enjoyed cards, postcards, greeting cards all types of cards which she always kept with her. But most important to her was her family and the time she spent with them.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Todd Witmer officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg, PA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
