Obituary for Edward L. Harbaugh
Edward L. Harbaugh, Sr. 72 of Fairfield, PA passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
Born in Fairfield, PA on February 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Lester H. & Adaline (Sites) Harbaugh.
Mr. Harbaugh had been employed by the Grit Mill in Fairfield, PA for 38 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Sportsman Club and the Fairfield AmVets.
Mr. Harbaugh is survived by his wife of 40 years, Geneva (Cool) Harbaugh, nine children; Edward L. Harbaugh, Jr., Kathy Dieugenio, Cheryl Todd and Mindy Bowers all of Greencastle, PA, Rich Falcone of Homer, Alaska, Mark Falcone of Billingham, Washington, Heather Wilt of Fairfield, Tammy Inis of Truckee, CA and Trapel Nesbit of York, PA, 25 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, a sister, Joyce Harbaugh of Fairfield, three brothers; Joe Harbaugh of Waynesboro, PA, Jim Harbaugh and John L. Harbaugh both of Fairfield. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Harbaugh, a sister, Mary Smith and a brother, Dave Harbaugh.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018 at the Blue Ridge Sportsman’s Club with Pastor Bill Shank, officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Monday following the service at the Sportsman’s Club from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
