Obituary for Eileen L. Filsinger
Eileen L. Filsinger, 81 of Fairfield, PA passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Gettysburg Center. Born August 1, 1937 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul N. & Emma C. (Herring) Myers Sr. Eileen worked for many years for the PNC Bank in Fairfield and earlier in her career was a telephone operator at the Provincial House in Emmitsburg, MD for 15 years. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School Class of 1955, a member of the Fairfield Fire & EMS Co. Eileen enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles and playing bingo. Surviving are her five siblings; Paul N. Myers, Jr., Freda A. Kepner, Patricia Reese and Tamara Weikert all of Fairfield, PA and Connie Reamer of Orrtanna, PA and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private per Eileen’s request. The family suggests memorials to the Fairfield Fire & EMS Co. 106 Steelman Street, Fairfield, PA 17320.
