Obituary for Elizabeth A. Farrar
Elizabeth A. Farrar, age 99 of Gettysburg, PA died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born April 1, 1918 in Pennington, WI, she was the daughter of the late Argro A. & Dorothy E. (Miller) Farrar.
Miss Farrar was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg. She had been employed by the Gettysburg Shoe Co. for many years and later worked at the Big D Department Store in Gettysburg.
Miss Farrar is survived by a nephew, Larry Smith of York Springs, PA and a niece, Carol Gaither of Biglerville, PA. She was predeceased by two sisters and four brothers.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg with her Pastor, Rev. Michael Allwein, officiating. Online tributes and condolences can be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
