Obituary for Eunice S. "Casey" Jones
Eunice S. “Casey” Jones, 91, of Gettysburg, PA died Friday afternoon, March 17, 2017 at her home in Gettysburg.
Born November 10, 1925 in Greencastle, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Statler) Sites.
Casey graduated from St. Thomas High School the Class of 1944. She worked for the Stanley Company in Chambersburg for a number of years and then was a clerk known for her stylishly big hair and pink fingernails, at Rea & Derick, Peoples, and CVS Drug Store in Gettysburg for 25 years.
She is survived by her adopted daughter, Cheryl Redding, of Reading, MA, her two sisters, Ruth Eckstine and Janet Murray, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Peter Ogilvie officiating. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery, St. Thomas, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Thursday morning at the funeral home.
