Obituary for Evelyn K. Gorman
Evelyn K. Gorman, 92, of Gettysburg, PA died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.
Born December 10, 1925 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert & Catherine (Shields) Shealer. Evelyn was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Gettysburg. She had worked through the years at Shuman’s Store which later became Hartzell’s Store on Baltimore Street in Gettysburg and in her later years, Evelyn worked at the Gettysburg College Dining Hall before her retirement.
Evelyn is survived by her dear friends, Jane and Don Waddell.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA with her pastor, Rev. Dr. Frederick A. Young, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
