Obituary for Frederick D. Randt
Frederick D. Randt, age 81 of Fairfield, PA passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Gettysburg Hospital. Born in Wausaukee, WI on September 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Erwin & Naomi (Treusdale) Randt. Mr. Randt was predeceased by his wife, Mary A. (Weishaar) Randt, who died in 2012. Mr. Randt was a retired U. S. Army Master Sgt. serving our country for 25 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fairfield, PA. Surviving are his children; Donna Trembow and husband Ray of Waynesboro, PA, Dr. Ronald Schultz of Waynesboro, Bonnie Rodger and husband Thomas of Blue Ridge Summit, PA, Charles Schultz and wife Dawn of Carroll Valley, PA David Randt and wife Amy of Fairfield, Thomas Randt and wife Kristen of Anchorage, Alaska and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 256 Tract Road, Fairfield, PA with Fr. Chris Onyeweke, Celebrant. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow the Mass with full military honors provided by the Adams County Allied Veterans.The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
