Frederick Richard Snyder, 80, 454 Clover Street, Etters, PA 17319 died Monday, February 19, 2018 at his home.
He was born September 27, 1937 in Gettysburg, PA the son of the late John Snyder and Margo McGregor. Fred is survived by his wife Judythe Owen Snyder of Etters, PA, a son Michael Snyder and his wife Sue of Gettysburg, PA, six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Snyder and a daughter, Sandra Uber.
Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Gettysburg Police Department where he served for six years. Fred moved to Etters in 1988. He was an avid trout fisherman at local streams.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:30 AM from Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Wounded Warriors of PA, 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
