Obituary for Gerardo Calderon Cortes
Gerardo Calderon Cortes, 39 of Arendtsville, PA died Sunday morning, July 24, 2016 as a result of an accident.
Born December 23, 1976 in Nexahualcoyotl, Mexico he was the son of Pedro Calderon Martinez and Martha Virginia Cortes Ledesma both of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Gerardo was the husband of Melissa R. (Bollinger) Calderon whom he was married to for 19 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children whom he loved dearly; daughters, Natalia Calderon and Yasmin Calderon, and his son Alexis Calderon. Also, three siblings all of Mexico, Angel Iban Calderon Cortes, Pedro Calderon Cortes and Karina Calderon Cortes. Paternal uncle Marcos Antonio Calderon Martinez and his wife, Maria Guillen of York, PA. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents.
A Memorial Mass will be held 5:00pm, Friday, July 29, 2016 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg with Fr Daniel Mitzel Celebrant, the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the start of Mass Friday at the church. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.
