Obituary for Hannah May Rodetsky
Hannah May Rodetsky, 85 of Fairfield, PA passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 01, 2017.
Born May 30, 1932 in Rivesville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John J. & Elvira Maude (Musgrave) Dublin. Hannah is survived by her husband of 66 years, Steven J. Rodetsky.
She had been employed as a bookkeeper for Masson Importing/Exporting Co. in Baltimore, MD for many years before moving to Fairfield with her family in 1987. Hannah enjoyed keeping busy and began working at the Giant Food Store’s Deli Department in Gettysburg well into her 80’s.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 6 children: Suzanne Welsh of Fairfield, Cathy Dillow of Littlestown, PA, Bob Rodetsky of Shinnston, WV, Christine Boyd of Fairfield, David Rodetsky of Westminster, MD and Bill Rodetsky of Fairfield, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her brother, James Dublin of Fairmont, WV.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 East Main Street, Fairfield, PA. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery. A Viewing will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m.
