Harold D. Naugle Jr., 75, of Fairfield, passed away in his home on Monday, March 4, 2024.
Born April 3, 1948 in South Mountain, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harold D. Naugle Sr., and Evelyn (Bigham) Naugle.
Harold was lovingly known by his family as June and by his friends as Had.
Harold proudly served in the Marine Corps from May 1966 to May 1970, including tours during the Vietnam War.
Harold was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, spending countless hours in the woods, watching wildlife, hunting mushrooms and enjoying nature. He was a lifelong fan of Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles and played softball and baseball throughout his lifetime. Harold enjoyed collecting baseball cards, amassing an impressive collection spanning his lifetime. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandparents Harry and Helen Naugle
Harold is survived by daughters Melinda Hockenberry (Shane) of Fayetteville, Lucy Burke (Martinus) of South Mountain, Laura Naugle (Stephen) of York; two step-sons, Brian Neiderer (Kara) of Littlestown and Michael Neiderer (Selena) of Fairfield; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, Helen Null, Beverly Fitz, Brenda Baker; two brothers, Monta Naugle and Vincent Naugle and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services to be held by the family at a later date.
