Harry Edward “Ed” Bucher, II, age 41, of Biglerville, PA died suddenly on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his home.
He was born June 18, 1976 in Gettysburg, PA and was the son of Harry E. “Jake” & Carolyn J. (Sharrah) Bucher, Sr. of Orrtanna, PA.
Ed was a 1994 graduate of Gettysburg High School and was associated with Bucher Meats in McKnightstown, PA. Ed was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Cashtown, PA. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Ed was a member of The Adams County Fish and Game Association, Fairfield AmVets Post #172 and the Gettysburg Moose Lodge #1526.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children; Clayton Lee Mason-Bucher of Gettysburg, Autumn Nicole Bucher and Seth Eli Bucher both of Colorado and Wiley Edward Bucher of Orrtanna, one grandson, Jaxson Matthew Bucher, two brothers; Jeremy R. Bucher of Kentucky and Isaac J. Bucher and wife Nicole of Orrtanna, a niece, Willow Bucher and two nephews; Tristen Bucher and Larkin Bucher.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg with Pastor Walter “Mickey” Barlow, officiating. Burial will be in the Flohrs Cemetery, McKnightstown. A Viewing will be held on Friday, May 11, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Flohrs Cemetery Association, C/O Secretary Cheryl Black, 610 Railroad Lane, Orrtanna, PA 17353.
