Obituary for Henry P. Fissel
Henry P. Fissel, 87, 860 Mt. Carmel Road, Orrtanna, PA died suddenly on Sunday, December 19, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 7, 1929 in Franklin Township, Adams County, PA the son of the late Paul T. and Annabel Shuyler Fissel. His wife Gailya Peeple predeceased him.
Henry was a veteran of the US Army serving in the 322nd Signal Corps at Ft. Bragg. He worked at I. Z.. Musselman’s Orchard for a time but spent most of his career with El Vista Orchards in Orrtanna. He was an avid gardener.
Henry is survived by one son, Jeffrey C. Fissel of Fairfield, PA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 26, 2016, from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joyce Shutt officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg, PA. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 Pm until the time of the service.
