Obituary for James A. Munshour
James A. “Jim” Munshour, 66 of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at The Gettysburg Hospital.
Born June 18, 1952 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of the late James D. & Lorraine (Small) Munshour, Jr.
Jim worked for many years at Munshour’s Body Shop in Gettysburg. He enjoyed working on race cars and watching auto racing, especially NASCAR. Jim was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna M. (Steinour) Munshour, sisters; Carol A. Eyler and husband Greg and Susan Hartzel and husband Brian both of Gettysburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 45 West High St., Gettysburg, PA with Fr. John Kuchinski, Celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Francis Cemetery. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 27, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg and on Friday at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The family suggests memorials to St. Anthony Shrine Roman Catholic Church, 16150 St. Anthony Road, 5, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
