James E. May, Jr., 63, of Gettysburg, PA died Tuesday morning, July 11, 2017 at the Meadows Nursing Home in Gettysburg.
Born June 21, 1954 in Frederick, MD he was the son of the late James E. and Elizabeth (Yingling) May Sr.
James loved fishing, eating crabs, and was obsessed with lawn mowers.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tina Dorn, of Littlestown, PA, Rita Walter, of Westminster, MD, three grandchildren, Tyler Dorn, Chandler Dorn, Hailey Walter, seven siblings, Sherry Myers, of Hanover, PA, Betty May, of Alabama, David Thamez, of North Carolina, Cynthia Johnson, of Alabama, Jenny Glass, of Taneytown, MD, Mary May, Richard May, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his longtime girlfriend, Barbara Hamm.
