Jan L. Newman, 61 of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at her home.
Born in Gettysburg on October 17, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Dale & Helen (Mauss) Newman. Jan graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1972 and had been employed by the former Gettysburg National Bank for a number of years and later worked for Herff Jones Yearbook Co. in Gettysburg until her retirement. She is survived by her sister, Nancy R. Newman and husband Craig Meeson of Gettysburg and her niece, Hannah Meeson and nephew, Curtis Meeson.
Funeral services will be private. Jan's wishes were for memorials be made to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd. Gettysburg, PA 17325.
