Obituary for Jane Virginia Sites
Jane Virginia Sites, 87, Mount Hope Road, Fairfield, PA died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Gettysburg Center.

She was born August 21, 1931 in Hamiltonban Township, Adams County, PA the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Shindledecker Sease. Jane is survived by her husband of 69 years, William Oliver Sites.

Mrs. Sites was a member of Orrtanna United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who worked seasonally at Knouse Foods. Jane enjoyed Blue Grass Music and playing her guitar with family and friends. She also liked to crochet and put together puzzles.

In addition to her husband Mrs. Sites is survived by three daughters; Donna L. McDannell and her husband Dale of Orrtanna, PA, Debra Ozminski and her husband Allen of Littlestown, PA, Patricia Williams of North Carolina, a son, W. Christopher Sites and his wife, Judy of Orrtanna, PA, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by eight brothers; James Sease, Joseph Sease, John Sease, Robert Sease, Harry Sease, Charles Sease, Kenneth Sease, Leo Sease, Lawrence Sease, three sisters; Mary Rider, Maybelle Sease, and Christine Sease and Ellen Sease.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM from Orrtanna United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Aker officiating. Interment will be in Fairfield Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Fairfield Fire Company, 106 Steelman Street, Fairfield, PA 17320.
