Obituary for Janine Synnamon
Janine Synnamon, 69, of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 in Gettysburg.
She was born August 22, 1951 in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Irene Bojarski & John Tupaj. Janine is survived by her husband of 46 years, William J. Synnamon, Sr.; her two sons: Brendan M. Synnamon and his wife, Jaime, of Gettysburg, and William J. Synnamon, Jr. of Gettysburg; her two grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Emelia Synnamon; as well as her two brothers: Terry Tupaj of New Hartford, NY and Jay Tupaj of Madison, TN.
Janine was a graduate of Utica Catholic Academy and Mohawk Valley Community College. Janine was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg. She was a gifted artist who loved to paint and enjoyed antiquing. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, but nothing made her happier in life than being everyone’s favorite Grammy. Jan had an uncanny ability of making people feel loved and welcome, with always a smile on her face.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg with Fr. Daniel Mitzel officiant. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
