Jean E. (Lehr) Coston, 88, of Gettysburg, PA died Saturday evening October 1, 2016 at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg, PA.
Born July 23, 1928 in North York, PA she was the daughter of the late Francis M. and Mattie (Valentine) Lehr. She was the wife of William F. Coston, Jr., of Gettysburg to whom she was married to for 67 years.
Mrs. Coston was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg. She worked for a number of years at Knouse Foods in the credit department. She was a volunteer at the Gettysburg Area Soup Kitchen. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved by her family and will be missed by them very much.
In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by her two children, William F. Coston, III, of Gettysburg, PA, Lora A. Newman and her husband Ron, of Hanover, PA, her seven grandchildren, Jennifer Krovic, Kerri Reeve, Sara Marshall, Scott Coston, David Newman, Daniel Newman, Erica Coston, nine great grandchildren, her sister, Frances Sansone, her nephew, Gary Collingsworth, as well as a number of other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig T. Coston, five brothers, and four sisters.
