Obituary for Jeffrey A. Miller
Jeffrey A. Miller, 38, 115 Queen Street, Gettysburg, PA passed peacefully Monday, September 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 6, 1978 in Gettysburg, PA the son of the late George H. Miller and Linda Decker Guerrieri of Gettysburg, PA. Jeff is also survived by his step-father Dave Guerrieri, his sister, Angie Miller and her fiancé Greg Day of Dillsburg, PA, his maternal grandmother, Janice Decker of Gettysburg and his nephew, Dustin Hankey of Gettysburg, PA.
Jeff was a 1997 graduate of Gettysburg High School. He later was employed at the HART Center in New Oxford for a period of time. He loved wolves, especially studying and watching them. Jeff also loved riding his bicycle. He could always be seen riding his bike around Gettysburg, often stopping to help people. He enjoyed watching TV, movies, and listening to music. He also spent a lot of time playing games and visiting with his friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 6:00 PM at St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg, PA with Rev. Michael Allwein officiating. Interment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania, 465 Speedwell Forge Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
