Obituary for Joan L. Crushong
Joan L. Crushong, 92 Fairfield, PA died suddenly at her home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
She was born August 14, 1926 in Gettysburg, PA the daughter of the late Vaughn and Agnes Cratin Harbaugh, Sr.
Joan was a Registered Nurse at the Gettysburg Hospital ER for many years and later in the Maternity Department. She enjoyed gardening and travel.
Mrs. Crushong is survived by a daughter, Sue Stewart and her husband Dave of Fairfield, PA, a son, Jeff Crushong of Gettysburg, PA, two granddaughters; Dana Bruinsma and her husband Vince, Nicole Marks and her husband Adam and a great granddaughter, Cali Marks. She was predeceased by a brother, Vaughn Harbaugh, Jr and a sister, Mary Jane Harbaugh.
A graveside Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Dale Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
