Obituary for Joanne M. Esham
Joanne Marie Esham, 65, of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from complication with Guillain-Barré Syndrome.
She was born on December 13, 1950 in Gettysburg, PA, to Geraldine and the late Ray Deardorff.
Joanne graduated, with a degree in accounting, from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA.
Joanne was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She loved being involved with the RCIA/Inquiry team at St. Francis de Sales Parish, where she was a church member.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Lee R. Esham, Jr., her mother, and a son Scott Kane and his fiancée, Maria Treesh of Enola, PA. Also surviving are a stepson Matt Esham and his wife Heather of Pocomoke City; and a stepdaughter Lydia Baker and her husband Rob of Bishopville. Joanne also dearly loved her 5 grandchildren Logan Kane, Ella Esham, Madeline Esham, Chase Baker and Bryce Baker. In addition, she is also survived by her siblings Richard Deardorff, Jeanne Weber, Marie Trimmer, James Deardorff and Carol Eichelberger all of Pennsylvania and Mary Wyatt of West Virginia.
The family will receive friends for visitation at 11:00 am on Monday, March 28, 2016 with a memorial service following at 12:00 pm at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Parish in Salisbury, MD. Father Chris LaBarge will be officiating.
A subsequent memorial and graveside service will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Buchanan Valley, PA on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 12:00 pm, with visitation starting at 11:00 am. The address of that church is 1095 Church Road, Orrtanna, PA 17353.
