Kathryn “Kate” L. Coppock, 94, formerly of Fairfield, PA died Tuesday afternoon, August 27, 2024 at Paramount Assisted Living, Fredericksburg, VA.
Born March 31, 1930 in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mildred (Hartranft) Miller. She was the wife of the late Roy Coppock Jr. who died 2001.
Mrs. Coppock was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church, Fairfield, PA. Kate’s interests included reading paperback novels, solving crossword puzzles, creating needlepoint, socializing with friends and shopping on QVC.
Kate is survived by her two daughters, JoAnne MacWilliam, of Ashville, NC, Melanie Moore, of Fredericksburg, VA, two grandchildren, Wendy Ceruti and Sean MacWilliam, her great grandsons, Ethan MacWilliam, Jackson MacWilliam, and Jacob MacWilliam and her twin sister, Carolyn McPike, of Florida. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Richard and Harold Miller.
Funeral services for Kate will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 E. Main St., Fairfield, PA. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
