Obituary for Lena E. (Stallsmith) Miller
Lena E. (Stallsmith) Miller, 95 of Gettysburg, PA died Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg after a long illness. Her husband the late Paul L. Miller died in 1991. Born in Tyrone Township, Adams County, PA on August 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George William & Maude (Wierman) Stallsmith. Mrs. Miller was a longtime member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Gettysburg. She is survived by her two daughters; Glenda L. Shetter and husband Ed of Gettysburg and Lucille M. Long and husband John of New Oxford, PA, thirteen grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Miller was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Stallsmith and three sisters; Julia Bucher, Margaret Fair and Mildred Miller. A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:00AM with her Pastor, Rev. Stephen Broache, officiating.
