Linda Sue Carbajal, 72, 305 Sunset Road, Orrtanna, PA died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at The Gardens, Gettysburg, PA.
She was born July 28, 1946 in Gettysburg, PA the daughter of the late Richard and Marion Mayer Miller. Her first husband, Paul McNew, Sr. died in 2009. Linda is survived by her husband, Sirenio Carbajal.
Mrs. Carbajal was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by four children; Dave McNew and his wife Liz of Spring Grove, PA, Paul McNew, Jr. of Carlisle, PA, Melody McNew of Hunterstown, PA, Michael McNew and his wife Carrie of Dover, PA, five step-children; Reina Houston and her husband Matt of Halethorpe, MD, Jose Carbajal and his wife Kaaran of Highland Ranch, CO, Luis Carbajal and his wife Kelly of Vernon, NJ, Jorge Carbajal and his wife Jennifer of Thomasville, PA, Miguel Carbajal and his wife Jeannie of Orrtanna, PA, eight grandchildren; Sharay McNew, Amanda Johnson, Lindy Hopkins, Dakota McNew, Ariel McNew, James Manning, Emily McNew, Sandra Manning, eight step-grandchildren; Brandon, Ryan, Tyler, Melanie, Janelle, Eli, Logan, Taylor, 4 great grandchildren, two sisters; Helen Bair and her companion Gene Funt of Orrtanna, PA, Rose Ann McCleaf and her husband Bryan of Bear Mountain, PA, a sister-in-law, Sherry Miller of Gettysburg, PA, and a lifelong friend, Mary Lou Johnson and a several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Kelly McNew and a brother, Gary Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 13th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, High Street, Gettysburg, PA at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg on Friday, October 12th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass.
