Obituary for Louise Baker Johnson
Louise J. Baker Johnson, 88 of Gettysburg, PA died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the York Hospital.
Born June 16, 1927 in Orrtanna, PA she was the daughter of the late Howard H. & Sarah Louise Catherine Baker.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg and had worked at the Adams County Courthouse in the Domestic Relations Department for many years.
She is survived by her two daughters; Nancy Wivell and husband James of Gettysburg and Brenda Bruns and husband Richard of Asburn, VA, a grandson, Andrew Collins and wife April and a granddaughter, Sarah Bruns. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by a brother, Donald Baker and a sister, Dorothy Baker Pinko.
Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg with her Pastor, Rev. Michael Allwein, officiating. There will not be a public viewing for Mrs. Johnson. The family suggests memorials to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
