Obituary for Louise M. Deardorff
Louise M. Deardorff, 81 of Biglerville, PA died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at the Village of Laurel Run.
Born October 19, 1934 in Franklin Township, Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Margaret (Harbold) McDannell. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Warren H. Deardorff, who died in 2003.
She had been employed for 45 years by the former C. H. Musselman Co. and later the Knouse Foods Plant in Biglerville. Louise was a member of Flohr’s Lutheran Church in McKnightstown, PA.
She is survived by her three children; Gary L. Deardorff and his wife Vicki, and David R. Deardorff both of Biglerville and Carol L. Deardorff of Orrtanna, PA, three grandchildren, Kristin Blake and her husband Russell, Leann Deardorff, Ashlee Saunders and her husband Isaac, five great grandchildren, three brothers; Eugene McDannell, Mark McDannell and Bernard McDannell all of Orrtanna, three sisters; Alice Williams of New Oxford, PA, Clara Redding of Gettysburg, PA and Edna Showers of Orrtanna and her half-sister, Violet Mauss of Biglerville. Louise was predeceased by a brother, John McDannell, three sisters; Ruth Baker, Betty MacBeth and Kathleen McDannell and a half-sister, Gladys Weaver.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Flohr’s Lutheran Church, 595 Flohr’s Church Road, McKnightstown, PA with her Pastor, Rev. Thomas Darr, officiating. Interment will be in Flohr’s
Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the interment at a reception in the church fellowship hall. The family suggests memorials to Flohr’s Lutheran Church.
