Lucille M. Parrell, 85, formerly of McAdoo, entered eternal rest Thursday morning, at Paramount Senior Living in Gettysburg.
She was born March 22, 1937 in McAdoo, the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Friendy) Bonafair.
She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Parish, McAdoo.
In retirement, Lucille enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Nattie, at the Senior Center in Hazleton, making pierogies at SS Peter and Paul, playing Scrabble with friends and watching the Game Show Network. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly.
Lucille is survived by sons Peter Minneci of McAdoo and John Adams of Gettysburg, PA; granddaughter Natiya (Nattie) Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded her in death by her son Joseph Minneci, husband Michael Parrell, and sisters Marion Potzner, Theresa Prekopa, Eleanor LaBraico and Dolores McAloose
The Rev. Boguslaw Janiec will celebrate the life of Lucille with a Mass on Friday, March 10 at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul, 44 E Adams St, McAdoo, PA 18237.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 10-11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul prior to the Mass.
