Obituary for Lynn G. Rinaca
Lynn G. Rinaca, aged 84 years, of Biglerville, PA, died on August 12, 2016 at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill with his wife at his side.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sheila J. Rinaca. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Emma (Griffith) Rinaca of Shenandoah, VA, brothers, Philip, Inman, and Kenneth Rinaca, and sisters, Vivian Morris and Margaret Higgs.
Surviving siblings are brothers, Gerald, Allan and wife Margaret, Melvin and wife Jean, Charles and wife Norva Rinaca, all of Shenandoah, VA; sisters, Dorothy Bass of Ashland, VA, Eleanor Sampson, of Waynesboro, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Lynn was a very proud Army Veteran who served in Germany during the Korean War conflict. After the military, he returned to his former employer, Bethlehem Steel, in Baltimore, from where he retired as a Metallurgical Technician after 35 years of service.
A noontime memorial service is planned for Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Adams County Ag Services Building located at 670 Old Harrisburg Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325. There will be an opportunity to greet the family and partake in light refreshments afterward.
