Obituary for Marian B. Gastley
: Marian B. Gastley, 87, of Gettysburg, PA passed away at The Gardens Nursing Center in Gettysburg on Sunday, August 12, 2018. Born in Gettysburg on September 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ralph J. & Anna M. (Schuyler) Shultz. Mrs. Gastley was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Harvey C. Gastley who died in 1998. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg. Mrs. Gastley worked alongside of her late husband operating Gastley’s Moving & Storage Co. serving as the company’s secretary and treasurer. Surviving are her three children: Michael J. Gastley and wife Vicki of Fairfield, PA, Connie E. Coldsmith and husband Chris of Gettysburg, and Gregory E. Gastley and companion Christine Shearer of York Springs, PA, six grandchildren: Joshua, Kyle and Tyler Gastley, Alexis and Laiken Kennedy and Jerrica Ott and a number of great grandchildren. Mrs. Gastley was predeceased by her three brothers and six sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street Gettysburg, PA 17325 with Pastor Michael Allwein, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. A Viewing will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg.
